Job Summary

As a Customer Support Specialist at Siemens, you will be instrumental in analyzing and resolving complex communication protocols for SIPROTEC devices, providing essential technical consultation on IEC61850, DIGSI, and system integration. Your role involves adeptly supporting customers with the integration of protection devices into control systems and managing crucial firmware updates. You will actively handle technical inquiries from both external customers and Siemens colleagues via a web-based tool, focusing on substation automation and protection technology, especially in communication. This position requires deep engineering expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform detailed error analyses of communication protocols. You will replicate customer issues in laboratory settings to develop solutions, occasionally conducting on-site support, and ensure high customer satisfaction by collaborating closely with various internal teams.
