Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position, based in Freiburg i. Br., involves overseeing and managing extensive civil engineering projects within land consolidation procedures across the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald and Emmendingen districts. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of construction measures, including advising local land consolidation authorities, participating in planning, conducting tendering processes, providing construction supervision (Bauleitung), and handling final billing. A primary focus lies in rural road and water construction, landscape maintenance, and municipal infrastructure development, such as village renovation and the expansion of bicycle paths. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Civil Engineering or are a certified Construction Technician, bringing expertise in public procurement and a strong understanding of agriculture and rural development. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Familiarity with public contracting and procurement procedures
  • Experience in rural road and water construction (ideally)
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility in a project team
