Job Summary

This role involves the design and engineering of electrical switchgear systems specifically for the shipbuilding and industrial sectors. The Electrical Engineering Designer will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of electrical design, including creating circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, bills of materials, and terminal/cable lists using the CAE system EPLAN P8. Key day-to-day tasks also include specifying and selecting electrical operating equipment, preparing comprehensive technical documentation, and generating calculations and quotations. A crucial component of the role is managing technical and commercial clarifications with both internal teams and external partners. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a completed technician qualification, strong proficiency in EPLAN P8, and working knowledge of English for communication.
