Job Summary
This role involves the autonomous planning, coordination, and management of complex projects, specifically focused on military training equipment. The Project Manager will be responsible for both the technical and economic outcomes of these projects, requiring strong organizational skills to manage budgets, timelines, and project reviews. Key duties include developing and optimizing concepts for training device deployment, product refinement, and creating detailed proposals and customer presentations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, coupled with professional experience in project leadership and proposal creation for complex technical products. Excellent communication, assertiveness, and fluency in English are essential for successful collaboration with internal departments, subcontractors, and external customers in the defense technology sector.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen)
Experience
- Professional experience in proposal creation and project leadership of complex technical products
- Experience with PM-Tools, especially MS Projects and MS Office
- Ideally, a military background
- Ideally, profound project, customer, and market knowledge in the defense technology sector
