Job Summary
This role involves driving digital transformation within the Ministry for Economy, Innovation, Digitalization, and Energy in Saarland, Germany. The successful candidate will primarily focus on key digitalization projects, including implementing a new grant information system and a modern e-file system. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing functional requirements, modeling and optimizing administrative processes and data flows, and collaborating with various internal and external partners. The role also involves developing technical concepts, planning project implementation, and ensuring continuous process improvement. Required Skills
Education
University of Applied Sciences degree or Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Economics (Business Administration/Economics), or a comparable field with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in process modeling, analysis, and optimization
- Experience with common modeling tools and software, as well as relevant standards (e.g., FIM, BPMN, UML)
- Knowledge and ideally experience in various project management methods (classical and agile)

- Foreign educational qualifications require proof of equivalence with a German degree (certificate evaluation). Applicants must be able to work independently and structured, demonstrate flexibility, resilience, assertiveness, organizational talent, high analytical skills, holistic thinking, and a quick grasp. Strong social competencies including communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution are also required. This is a fixed-term employment for up to five years.
