Job Summary
This position is a crucial, part-time (30 hours/week) role focused on coordinating and supporting the Building Services Technician Team for a social services provider in Wolfsburg/Braunschweig. The specialist is responsible for ensuring the technical and spatial readiness of the organization's rental properties. Day-to-day tasks involve managing team deployment, prioritizing workloads, procuring necessary materials, and conducting quality control checks on completed work. The role also requires hands-on technical skills, including performing minor repairs across various trades (painting, light installation, furniture assembly, kitchen setup) and handling logistics such as transport for small moves. Administrative duties include obtaining quotes and cost estimates for larger repairs and coordinating with overall management. Successful candidates must have completed formal training in a manual trade, demonstrate strong organizational and cost-management abilities, and possess a valid Class B driver's license with trailer authorization.
