Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to lead the Civil Engineering Team within the Building and Environment Department of the Municipality of Wennigsen (Deister), starting September 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of six, managing the entire lifecycle of road and civil engineering projects, including planning, new construction, maintenance, and repair of traffic and disposal systems. Key responsibilities also include strategic long-term planning, budget management, preparing tenders, and supervising external engineering firms. This role requires a strong background in civil or environmental engineering, extensive professional experience in project planning, tendering, and construction supervision, and a solid understanding of relevant German regulations (HOAI, VOB).
