Job Summary
This role is ideal for a proactive IT professional focused on maintaining seamless operations and providing excellent support within a large technical communication service provider. As the central contact in the IT Service Desk, you will handle First and and Second Level Support, prioritizing and resolving issues efficiently using a ticketing system. Day-to-day tasks include installing and configuring workstations, managing Microsoft Active Directory and the Microsoft 365 environment (including Entra/Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint), and automating software updates via tools like Microsoft Intune or scripting. You will also manage IT assets, handle hardware/software procurement, oversee license agreements, and ensure all office IT equipment, including conference technology, is operational. This position requires strong technical proficiency in the Microsoft ecosystem and a service-oriented mindset to support 180 specialists across Germany.
Required Skills
Education
Completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a comparable IT degree
Experience
- Initial experience in IT Support
- Professional experience with the Microsoft 365 environment and its services
- Familiarity with current Windows operating systems
- Ideally, experience with virtualization (VMware)
- Ideally, experience with Citrix environments
- Ideally, experience with Storage Systems (e.g., NetApp)
