Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced PLC Programmer to join a growing team focused on industrial automation projects across multiple locations in North Rhine-Westphalia. The core responsibility involves taking ownership of project planning and implementing PLC programming solutions for special machine construction and industrial plant engineering. This includes both the automation of new facilities and the crucial modernization (Retrofit) of legacy systems. A key component of the job is planning and executing system visualizations and performing worldwide commissioning of the plants (up to 30% travel). Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics, or an equivalent technical qualification, coupled with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in plant automation. Required technical skills include TIA-Portal, SIMATIC S7, and WinCC. Success in this position requires strong communication skills and fluency in German (C1) alongside good English proficiency (B2). The position offers flexible hours and home office options.
