Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Offshore Equipment Project Manager responsible for the technical specification, design, and seamless integration of critical topsides infrastructure, including Helidecks, various insulation systems (thermal, acoustic, Passive Fire Protection - PFP), and material handling systems. Key daily activities involve rigorous compliance monitoring against technical specifications, reviewing 3D models and engineering drawings, and coordinating complex interfaces across different systems. A major focus is placed on comprehensive supplier management, covering the entire lifecycle from generating Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and conducting technical comparisons to performing Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT). The ideal candidate must hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Offshore, Mechanical, or Shipbuilding) and possess solid practical experience applying stringent maritime regulations, such as DNV/NORSOK, SOLAS/MODU, and ATEX/IECEx, ensuring class conformity for all equipment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Shipbuilding Engineering, Civil Engineering, or comparable field.

Experience

  • Solid experience in Topsides/Offshore equipment or maritime plant planning.
  • Practical experience applying relevant maritime regulations (DNV/NORSOK, SOLAS/MODU, ATEX/IECEx, Helideck standards).
  • Experience managing suppliers, including RFQs, technical comparisons, and conducting FAT/SAT.
  • Experience with Passive Fire Protection (PFP) and insulation systems (e.g., A60/H60, Jet-Fire) and fire/blast/weather-tight components.
