Job Summary

This role involves designing and constructing electrical plans for specialized equipment, including manual and robotic welding tongs, custom systems, and test benches. The Electrical Designer will primarily use EPLAN Electric P8 (Version 2.9 or comparable CAD software) to create detailed electrical schematics and manage article master data and bills of materials within the ERP system. Key responsibilities also include selecting and sizing electrical components, supporting system commissioning at customer sites, and performing fault analysis. The ideal candidate must possess an electrical engineering background, several years of experience in electrical design, preferably within special machine construction, and demonstrate proficiency with EPLAN. Strong collaboration skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach are essential for working closely with electrical assembly and project management teams.
