Job Summary

This role seeks an R&D Specialist to join a competency circle focused on industrial powder coating technology, leveraging chemical and analytical expertise to drive product development within a global family-owned furniture component manufacturer. Day-to-day responsibilities include significantly influencing powder specifications, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and internal processes (coating, curing, decoating, packaging, transport), and continuously advancing technological development by focusing on surface pretreatment and decoating techniques. The specialist will also support serial production by conducting independent analyses to resolve surface-related issues and leading projects for sustainable solutions. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemical Engineering, Surface Technology, Process Engineering, or Materials Science, possesses relevant professional experience in the powder coating industry, and demonstrates a strong understanding of process engineering correlations, coupled with practical experience in mass production.
