Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the reliable operation of critical safety lighting systems for clients across the Neuss, Wuppertal, and Essen regions. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of emergency and exit sign lighting systems. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting, documenting system checks, coordinating with project management, and providing technical instruction and support to customers and field staff. This position requires a completed vocational education in an electrical engineering field and practical experience, ideally with safety lighting or UPS systems. The role offers an attractive starting salary (from €45,500 annually plus benefits), an unlimited contract, flexible working hours, and the use of a company vehicle, making it an excellent opportunity for skilled electrical professionals focused on building and infrastructure safety.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in an electrical engineering profession (e.g., Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Automation Technology, System Electronics Technician, or comparable). Further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman is advantageous.
Experience
- Professional experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance, or servicing
- Experience in safety lighting or UPS systems is preferred
