Job Summary

Join Nestlé in Vevey as an IP Paralegal, where you will be instrumental in managing global trademark portfolios and driving crucial intellectual property projects. This role involves working closely with Senior Legal Counsel(s) to execute protection strategies following business roll-out plans. Daily tasks include conducting detailed trademark availability searches, analyzing results, and managing the entire registration process from filing to grant for specific Business Units. You will handle complex interactions with IP Authorities worldwide, dealing with objections, defensive oppositions, and negotiating co-existence agreements and undertakings. Furthermore, you will monitor competitive trademarks, file necessary oppositions, update internal databases (docketing deadlines), and gather evidence for use, sales figures, and marketing materials to support litigation activities. Success requires solid experience in the trademark field, ideally gained within an international corporate setting or a law firm, coupled with exceptional organizational skills and a proactive, autonomous approach.
