Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Automation Technology Engineer to manage the full lifecycle of automation systems, focusing on cooling water, ventilation, and climate control for complex accelerator facilities or laboratories. The position requires deep expertise in project planning, setup, and operation of these systems, coupled with strong skills in PLC/DDC programming, and measurement, control, and regulation technology. The ideal candidate will possess long-term professional experience in control systems, plant visualization, and alarm systems, preferably utilizing EPICS. Success in this role demands structured, process-oriented work, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently, ensuring the reliable operation of critical infrastructure. Fluency in German and good English skills are essential, along with the physical ability to navigate construction sites and technical spaces.
