The Data and AI Governance Manager will be a pivotal figure in Smartbroker's data and AI strategy, operating at the critical intersection of regulation, business strategy, and technical execution. This role involves developing, rolling out, and maintaining comprehensive governance frameworks for data and AI, including compliance with the EU AI Act, establishing data ownership concepts, and ensuring robust data quality and security standards across a complex data landscape. Day-to-day tasks include creating policies, managing cross-divisional initiatives, providing training, and collaborating closely with Legal, Tech, and Business teams to ensure privacy and compliance. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with several years of experience in data governance and management, eager to connect regulatory requirements with innovative technology within the fast-paced fintech industry.

Education
University degree in a technical or business field (Management, Computer Science, Natural Science, or similar)
Experience
- Several years of experience in data management, data governance, and data privacy related roles
- Professional experience with data privacy and data security frameworks and processes
- Professional experience with data management and cataloging tools
- Professional experience with AI ethics, risks, security, and governance
