Job Summary
This role is for a Junior EDI Specialist responsible for managing and optimizing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems and processes across the bank's locations in Frankfurt and Pforzheim. Key responsibilities include acting as the primary internal and external contact for onboarding processes related to central regulation associations, focusing heavily on EDIFACT and e-invoicing standards (E-Rechnung). You will actively participate in critical IT projects, such as release changes and the implementation of new procedures, and gradually assume technical responsibility for core EDI systems, including the Seeburger BIS 6.7 Cluster and related tools. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science, or possesses extensive IT-relevant professional experience, coupled with fundamental knowledge of interface technologies (XML, AS2, SFTP) and industry standards (EDIFACT, ZUGFeRD). Required Skills
Education
Degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science with a business background, OR IT apprenticeship combined with long-term professional experience and further training.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT-relevant areas (as alternative to formal education)
- Knowledge of common interface technologies and transaction standards in the EDI/EAI environment
- Project experience (Ideally)
- Know-how of Seeburger products and processes (Ideally)
- Experience in one to two programming languages (Ideally)
