Job Summary
This is an opportunity for a Senior EDI Specialist to become a key internal and external contact for onboarding processes related to central regulation associations, focusing on EDIFACT, e-invoicing, and other procedures. The role involves optimizing existing technologies and EDIFACT/e-invoicing processes, developing and executing comprehensive test procedures in collaboration with test management, and managing communication with service providers. Crucially, the specialist will progressively take responsibility for EDI systems within central regulation and the bank, including Seeburger BIS 6.7 Cluster and CMA-Tools, and potentially take on sub-project or project leadership roles in initiatives like release changes and e-invoicing implementation. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT or business informatics, deep knowledge of EDI/EAI standards (like EDIFACT, XML, ZUGFeRD, X-Rechnung), and proficiency with Seeburger products. This position offers significant scope for design and development within a specialized bank setting.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science with a business background; alternatively, an IT apprenticeship or long-term professional experience supported by further training.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT-relevant areas (alternative to formal IT education)
- Project experience in IT/EDI projects
- Very good knowledge of Seeburger products and processes
- Very good knowledge of EDI standards and procedures
- Desirable experience in one or two programming languages
- Desirable knowledge of SAP ERP and S/4Hana
