Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced IT System Engineer to join the School and Sports Department of the City of Zurich, focusing on ensuring stable and secure IT operations for over 50 specialized applications and 1,500 users across various departments and school districts. Key responsibilities include providing 2nd and 3rd level support, monitoring interfaces, managing data imports/exports, and actively contributing to the conception and continuous development of the overall system landscape, including backup and security protocols. The ideal candidate holds a degree from a Higher Technical School in IT, possesses at least three years of relevant experience, and is certified in ITIL, with strong expertise in Microsoft databases and servers.
