Job Summary

The Samtgemeinde Bevensen-Ebstorf is seeking a full-time Civil Engineering Technician to join their Construction and Planning Management team. This role is crucial for maintaining and improving local infrastructure, focusing heavily on bridge inspections and subsequent repair work. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating and supervising bridge maintenance, planning and managing infrastructure improvements for roads, traffic areas, and rainwater drainage systems, and handling associated billing. The technician will also manage traffic-related tasks, such as traffic measurements and participation in regulatory traffic orders, and process applications for private property driveways. Key requirements include a successful qualification as a State Certified Technician in Civil Engineering and a Class B driving license. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, organized, and possesses strong communication skills to work cooperatively within the team.
