Job Summary

This role involves developing sustainable and innovative building concepts and infrastructure projects, managing all service phases according to HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers). The engineer will specialize in planning electrical and telecommunications technology for new and existing buildings. Key responsibilities include creating specifications, reviewing bids, supporting budget control, and making award decisions. A significant focus is on detailed design of electrical systems, including creating circuit diagrams for low- and/or medium-voltage switchgear, dimensioning systems (consumer lists, cabling, layout), and designing lighting and lightning protection systems. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification (Master Electrician/Technician), possesses professional experience in planning electrical systems, is familiar with project workflows (HOAI, VOB), and has strong CAD skills, ideally including 3D/BIM planning. Fluency in German is required for successful communication with clients and the team.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, or completed qualification as a Master Electrician (Elektromeister:in) or Technician (Techniker:in) with a focus on Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning electrical systems, preferably in an engineering office or installation company
  • Experience in creating circuit diagrams
  • Knowledge of electrical switchgear and power distribution systems (Ideal)
  • Familiarity with project procedures and interfaces with other trades
