Job Summary

This role involves developing sustainable and innovative building concepts and infrastructure projects, managing all service phases according to the German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers (HOAI). The engineer will be responsible for planning electrical and telecommunications technology for new and existing buildings, including creating specifications, reviewing bids, and supporting budget control and contract awards. A core focus is the detailed design of electrical systems, such as creating wiring diagrams for low- and/or medium-voltage switchgear. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification (e.g., Master Electrician or Technician) and possess professional experience, ideally within an engineering or installation firm. Familiarity with relevant regulations (HOAI, VOB), CAD/BIM tools, and a strong interest in sustainable technologies, electromobility, and energy systems are essential for success in this challenging and forward-looking position.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, or completed training as a Master Electrician or Technician specializing in Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning electrical systems
  • Experience working in an engineering office or installation company (preferred)
  • Knowledge of electrical switchgear and energy distribution systems (preferred)
  • Familiarity with project procedures and interfaces with other trades
  • Experience in creating wiring diagrams
