Job Summary

This role involves joining the ICT Software Development department to design, conceptualize, and develop robust, database-supported, web-based software systems crucial for digitalizing and improving funding processes across Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining web presences using various Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress and Drupal, and developing and integrating APIs for monitoring and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Key requirements include a university degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, coupled with at least three years of professional experience in software development, strong knowledge of web technologies (XHTML, Ajax, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks), and expertise in relational databases. The position requires familiarity with modern software architecture, version control (Git), virtualization technologies (Docker), and agile methodologies (SCRUM), ensuring high standards of quality, data protection, and IT security in all developed products. This is a fixed-term contract of two years, offering a chance to contribute to critical future topics like climate change, digitalization, and AI within a large European research management organization.

Required Skills
