Day-to-day tasks involve close collaboration with the sales team, managing projects commercially from initial concept through contract negotiations, and overseeing plant commissioning. The manager is expected to build and maintain robust networks in target industries to identify new business opportunities and contribute significantly to the strategic development of the Clean Hydrogen business unit. Key qualifications include a background in Engineering, Commerce, or Economics, paired with at least five years of experience in industrial gas sales and project execution for electrolysis plants. Success in this role demands proven project management and business development expertise, strong negotiation skills, and a willingness to travel approximately 40% across Europe.

Required Skills

Education

Completed qualification as an Engineer, Commercial professional, and/or Economist (Business Studies)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the industrial gas business
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sales and project execution of industrial electrolysis plants for hydrogen production
  • Proven experience in Project Management
  • Track record of success in Business Development
