This role seeks an experienced Backend Software Developer to join a motivated team focusing on innovative solutions within the energy sector. The core responsibilities include the comprehensive development and enhancement of backend features, integrating external interfaces, and optimizing existing system workflows. You will collaborate closely with project leads, system architects, and internal/external developers to analyze technical challenges and design sustainable solutions. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, coupled with at least two years of professional experience in backend development, specifically utilizing technologies like Java, Python, or Django. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Github or GitLab is essential. This position offers a high degree of freedom in shaping your work methods and requires Fluent English proficiency for effective communication with international development partners.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree (HTL, FH, or University level) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering Sciences, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in backend system software development
- Experience in using CI/CD tools and automation solutions
- Experience supporting the analysis of technical challenges and designing new features
