Job Summary
This full-time role involves managing and expanding the international contacts and cooperation of the German Medical Association (Bundesärztekammer), the central organization for medical self-governance in Germany. The Advisor will focus on European and international health policy, medical ethics, and issues related to the recognition of foreign professional qualifications, particularly for migrating physicians. Key responsibilities include preparing scientific evaluations, drafting official statements, position papers, speeches, and presentations in both German and English, and representing the organization's positions in international professional political bodies. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant Master's degree, professional experience (ideally in healthcare), strong intercultural and diplomatic skills, and excellent communication abilities in German and English, making them a crucial link in global health policy dialogue.
