Job Summary

This Data Steward role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing data integrity across the company's IT systems, supporting a major player in the German building materials and retail sector. The core responsibilities involve the continuous maintenance, updating, and quality assurance of master and transactional data, independently monitoring and correcting data inconsistencies, and resolving quality issues through regular analysis and documentation. You will be instrumental in identifying and optimizing data-related processes to boost efficiency and quality, and you will manage sub-projects and provide technical guidance to small teams within data initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses at least three years of professional experience in data management, coupled with a relevant IT qualification (such as an IT Specialist for Data and Process Analysis). Success requires strong analytical skills and practical experience with ERP systems and databases.
