Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive technical support for specialized machinery, focusing on commissioning, installation, and maintenance both at the company's main facility in Erkrath and on-site at customer locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include initial machine startup, final customer acceptance testing, and subsequent installation and recommissioning at the client's premises. A crucial part of the job is conducting detailed troubleshooting, fault analysis, and performing regular service and maintenance operations. Furthermore, the technician will be responsible for training customer personnel, including operators and maintenance staff, ensuring smooth machine operation. The ideal candidate holds a qualification in electronics or mechatronics, possesses practical experience with PLC controls (preferably Siemens S7 TIA Portal) and servo drive technology, and demonstrates strong communication skills and a willingness to travel.
