Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Design Engineer based in Solingen, focusing on sophisticated engineering projects, particularly within technical plant construction and intralogistics. The core responsibilities include creating electrical schematics, assembly plans, and parts lists using EPLAN P8, and preparing documentation for control cabinet construction and assembly. The engineer will also be crucial in coordinating and supervising electrical assembly projects, both internally and with suppliers, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and current standards. Candidates must possess a degree or technical qualification in electrical or control engineering, professional experience in technical plant construction, proficiency with EPLAN (version 2.9 or 202*), and familiarity with specialized E-construction tools like TIA Selection Tool and Simaris Design. The position requires strong collaboration skills, a willingness to travel nationally and internationally, and excellent German language skills.
