Job Summary

This role involves contributing to the future of mobility in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) by ensuring smooth traffic flow on federal and state roads, as well as cycle paths. The successful candidate will join Straßen.NRW, a modern mobility service provider, to handle complex engineering tasks with a focus on third-party planning. Key responsibilities include evaluating and commenting on regional planning, development planning procedures, and other third-party schemes, as well as drafting agreements and reviewing compensation calculations. Candidates must hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Transport/Urban/Spatial Planning, or Geography, or an equivalent qualification, and possess at least three years of relevant professional experience. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, self-initiative, proven negotiation abilities, and a structured approach to problem-solving.

Completed degree (Diplom (FH)/Bachelor) in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, Urban Planning, Spatial Planning, Geography, or a comparable field; or qualification for the higher intermediate technical service career track (Laufbahngruppe 2, first entry level)

Experience
