Job Summary

This role is for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator dedicated to advancing technology solutions for high-profile clients within FERCHAU. Day-to-day responsibilities include the comprehensive administration and operation of the SAP system landscape, covering system copies, upgrades, patching, and transport management. A key focus is on user and authorization management, ensuring system compliance, and supporting audits. The successful candidate will also handle performance analysis, optimization, and execute backup/recovery processes. This position requires providing 1st and 2nd-level support for SAP Basis topics, collaborating closely with infrastructure teams (network, database, OS), and managing external SAP service providers. Required qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, multi-year experience in SAP Basis administration, and proficiency in relevant operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows) and databases (Oracle, SAP MaxDB, MS SQL). Strong analytical skills and fluency in both German and English are essential.
