Job Summary
This role involves leading and managing complex software development projects within the automotive sector. The Project Manager will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, including planning, steering, and tracking project progress, ensuring timely delivery, and managing stakeholder expectations. Key daily activities include overseeing cross-functional concepts, participating in regular and escalation meetings, and proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues. The ideal candidate must possess a technical background (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) and proven experience in both software development and project control, preferably within the automotive domain. Proficiency with software management tools like Jira or Polarion, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in German and very good English are essential for success in this international and challenging environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar) or IT-related vocational training, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in software development
- Professional experience in project control
- Experience in the Automotive environment (ideal)
- Experience with Automotive Spice (advantageous)
- Experience with agile/hybrid projects (advantageous)
