Job Summary

This role involves supporting development projects from the initial concept phase through to serial production readiness. The Design Engineer will be responsible for setting up prototype and test arrangements in a laboratory environment, conducting testing and validation, and developing innovative proposals, assessing their feasibility and benefits. A key part of the job includes the maintenance, further development, and cost optimization of existing products. Day-to-day tasks also require independent troubleshooting, escalation of issues, and developing solutions for problems encountered. Success in this position demands close collaboration with product development and product management departments. Candidates should possess a technical degree or technician qualification, strong analytical skills, and foundational experience in mechanical design, particularly using Solid Edge.
