Job Summary

This Component Manager role involves crucial procurement and negotiation responsibilities within Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and negotiating prices and conditions for electronic components, supporting quotation calculations, and ensuring the completeness of technical documentation. A key part of the job is supplier selection, obtaining competitive offers, and proactively finding alternative components during supply bottlenecks. The role requires meticulous material calculation maintenance, master data creation in PLM and ERP systems (specifically Baan), and close collaboration with internal departments including Purchasing, Engineering, Sales, and Quality Assurance. Candidates should possess a technical degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, strong knowledge of the electronic component procurement market, and excellent IT skills, including MS Office and ERP systems.
