Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive financial and specialized controlling for the Department of Youth, Family, Social Affairs, and Education within the Landsberg am Lech district administration. The specialist will be responsible for establishing and refining management-relevant reporting, including target-actual comparisons, budget evaluations, and key performance indicator reports. Key duties include developing reporting standards, conducting detailed analyses (cost structures, economic efficiency), and managing the budget for child and youth welfare, including calculating required funds and presenting results. A significant part of the job involves contract management, such as drafting and negotiating quality, service, and remuneration agreements with youth welfare providers, and adjusting foster care rates. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and a high affinity for numbers, coupled with relevant administrative qualifications and an understanding of financial accounting in the context of youth welfare.

Required Skills

Education

Successful completion of the advanced employee training course II (Beschäftigtenlehrgang II) or the third qualification level (formerly higher non-technical administrative service, equivalent to a Diploma in Public Administration)

Experience

  • Professional experience in financial controlling or public administration
