Job Summary

This role seeks a motivated IT Systems Integration Specialist to serve as the crucial local point of contact for a proprietary Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Day-to-day responsibilities involve acting as the primary interface between local users and remote developers, translating user needs into formal requirements for programming preparation, and meticulously managing database entries for system changes and corrections. A core function is providing essential First-Level Support, efficiently handling and resolving user tickets. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in SQL programming and possess foundational IT knowledge, particularly concerning Active Directory and domain management. A strong understanding of interfaces connecting to SCADA and ERP systems is essential. The position requires excellent communication skills in both German and English. While initially offered as an 18-month fixed-term contract, this role provides significant responsibility in a varied and dynamic technical environment.
