Job Summary

This role involves working as a Materials Tester specializing in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), specifically focusing on X-ray inspections within the defense industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include the planning, coordination, and execution of X-ray testing, which requires setting up appropriate test configurations and handling potentially explosive or hazardous components safely. A core function is the organization and processing of test orders, followed by the detailed analysis and evaluation of image data to generate comprehensive test reports. Furthermore, the role requires proactive maintenance and repair of X-ray systems to ensure high operational availability. Ideal candidates must hold RT-F and RT-D Level 2 certification according to EN ISO 9712 and possess a background in electrical engineering or equivalent, coupled with strong analytical skills and proficiency in X-ray software and digital image processing.
