Job Summary
The Hessian University of Public Management and Security is seeking a part-time Community Manager (20 hours/week) to join the Center for Junior Staff Management and Police Cadet Recruitment in Wiesbaden. This role is crucial for attracting suitable candidates for the Hessian Police force, targeting young people aged 16-36. Day-to-day responsibilities involve actively managing and monitoring the 'Polizei Hessen Karriere' Instagram accounts, providing professional and service-oriented responses to direct messages, comments, and inquiries, and documenting relevant community feedback. The manager will also proactively engage with the online community, support the development and implementation of recruitment campaigns, and coordinate both digital and in-person events. Key requirements include a relevant vocational qualification, at least one year of experience in a social media team, and very strong written German communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to strategically shape the police force's public image and recruitment efforts.
