Job Summary

This specialist role is crucial for ensuring the smooth integration of wind turbines and wind farms into the electrical grid. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing complex grid connection documentation to ensure strict compliance with all relevant standards and regulations, focusing on the precise implementation of technical limits for individual turbines. You will configure standard grid connection parameters, such as voltage, frequency, and current protection, necessary for the commissioning and connection of wind parks. A key technical aspect involves developing project-specific Grid Code variants and performing the electrotechnical configuration of the systems. Furthermore, the specialist optimizes system behavior during faults, particularly concerning active and reactive power feed-in, and parameterizes components like Multi-Function Relays and Main Converters. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, possesses strong technical comprehension, and is fluent in German with good English skills to effectively support service teams, project leads, and external experts.
