Job Summary
The Technical University of Munich's Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Research Neutron Source (FRM II) is seeking two full-time Radiation Protection Technicians. In this role, you will support radiation protection officers by monitoring activities within radiation protection areas, approving materials from controlled zones, and conducting recurring inspections of radiation protection instrumentation. A key part of your day-to-day will involve performing radioactivity measurements and meticulously documenting results, ensuring strict adherence to legal limits and regulations. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician or Master's degree in a technical-scientific field
Experience
- Completed training as a state-certified technician or master in a technical-scientific field
- Knowledge in radioactivity and measurement technology is advantageous
- Practical experience in radiation protection is advantageous
- Professional experience in a technical-scientific field (entry-level candidates welcome)
