Job Summary

This role involves joining a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing the IT performance and processes within Power Oil Rostock GmbH, one of Germany's largest oil mills. Day-to-day tasks include the installation, configuration, and administration of critical IT infrastructure, such as Windows-based server and client systems, network components, IP-based telephone systems, data backup solutions, and WLAN infrastructure. A key component of the job is providing comprehensive user support, both on-site and remotely via phone and remote maintenance. Candidates should ideally have a completed IT education or extensive professional experience, coupled with strong knowledge in networking, Microsoft Windows, IP telephony, or MS Office 365. The position requires a service-oriented, structured, and solution-focused approach, excellent German language skills, and willingness to undertake occasional business trips.
