Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the reliable operation of offshore wind energy facilities by performing essential maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on mechanical systems, particularly at substations and transition pieces. The Offshore Service Technician will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting offshore assignments, including fault analysis and troubleshooting to restore safe operational status. Candidates must possess a strong technical background in mechanical or mechatronic fields, coupled with a high sense of responsibility and safety awareness. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training (Berufsausbildung) in a technical-mechanical field (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronic Technician)

Experience

  • Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronic Technician, Construction Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Service Technician with a mechanical focus, or similar technical-mechanical field
  • Professional experience working in a team environment
  • Willingness to participate in offshore assignments and shift work (14/14 On/Off schedule)
