Job Summary
This role involves executing crucial civil engineering projects, primarily focusing on water supply and wastewater disposal measures for the municipality of Rehlingen-Siersburg. Day-to-day tasks include managing the entire project lifecycle, from cost estimation and planning to tendering, awarding contracts, site supervision, billing, and securing subsidies. The employee will also handle construction maintenance, act as the client representative (Bauherr), and coordinate projects with authorities, contractors, and citizens. A successful candidate must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience as a Civil Engineering Technician, coupled with knowledge of relevant contract law (VOB, HOAI). This position requires a qualified, resilient, and flexible individual capable of handling conflict resolution, offering an attractive opportunity for stable employment within the public sector.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Civil Engineering (Tiefbau) or equivalent qualification as a Civil Engineering Technician. Additional qualification as a certified Sewer Rehabilitation Consultant is advantageous.
Experience
- Successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering (Deep Construction) or equivalent professional skills and experience as a Civil Engineering Technician
- Professional experience in relevant fields (desirable)
- Experience in managing civil engineering projects (sewage/roads/village renewal)
