Job Summary

This role involves developing and implementing robust database strategies to support the company's corporate and eCommerce objectives. The Database Engineer will focus on designing and enhancing database architectures for high availability, scalability, and security, primarily within the Microsoft SQL Server environment. Key responsibilities include optimizing database query performance, implementing ETL processes for data integration, and managing/optimizing database solutions in the Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, coupled with several years of professional experience in database administration, strong skills in T-SQL, data modeling, and automation using Python or PowerShell.
