Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Civil Engineering Technician specializing in Underground Construction to actively shape the future of wastewater infrastructure for Stadtwerke SH. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of central infrastructure projects, including planning and conceptualizing new construction and maintenance measures, managing external engineering offices, and ensuring project quality and adherence to timelines. A key focus involves guiding property owners through drainage system conversions (mixed to separate systems) and initiating comprehensive sewer rehabilitation programs. You will also be involved in foreign water detection and managing immediate technical responses. Success requires a formal qualification as a Civil Engineering Technician in Underground Construction, several years of practical experience in the wastewater sector, and proficiency in digital tools for documentation and planning. This position offers an unlimited contract, excellent work-life balance through 30 days of vacation plus holidays, flexible working hours (flextime), and secure, transparent compensation based on the TV-V collective agreement (EG 11).
