Job Summary

The Deutsche Bundesbank is seeking a dedicated Web Application Services Engineer to join their journey toward becoming a digital central bank. This role, based in Düsseldorf, involves the installation and administration of Web Application Services across both Bundesbank infrastructure and various cloud environments (Private and Public Cloud). Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring, maintaining, and optimizing platform infrastructure while strictly adhering to security guidelines. A key focus will be on creating hardened images for technologies like Websphere Liberty, NGINX, Quarkus, and Spring Boot, and actively automating configurations to boost efficiency. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, possesses strong knowledge of scripting, Ansible for system automation, and experience with system management, software packaging, and patch management of web platforms.
