Job Summary

This critical role seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure and Network Administrator to ensure the stability, security, and high availability of the company's IT environments, supporting successful SAP projects focused on Retail and Consumer Products. Key responsibilities include the operation and continuous development of server, storage, and network architectures, system monitoring, and performance optimization. Day-to-day tasks involve extensive network administration, including Firewall (OPNsense), VPN, Routing, Switching (HP), and WLAN (UniFi) management, alongside the administration of VMware ESX and SAN systems. The administrator will also handle Linux (SAP) and Windows Server environments, Active Directory, client management, and provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support. A strong focus is placed on IT security, system hardening, and managing container virtualization (Docker). The ideal candidate possesses multi-year professional experience and strong proficiency in German and English.
