Job Summary

This Senior Electrical Design Engineer role is pivotal in designing robust electrical systems for complex industrial automation and robotic applications. The successful candidate will be the 'electrical brain' behind automation systems, focusing on system design, schematic development using EPLAN P8, and component selection (E-BOM creation) for PLCs, sensors, and actuators. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring seamless integration between electrical components and control systems (working closely with PLC programmers), maintaining strict adherence to CE directives, safety standards (NEC, IEC), and supporting the installation, commissioning, and testing phases. This position requires strong expertise in electrical construction for machinery, ideally within the automotive or robotics sectors, and involves necessary travel to support clients and partners, contributing significantly to Germany's industrial automation landscape.
