Job Summary

This leadership role involves the strategic and operational management of the Sales department, focusing on advanced laser and photonics systems for industrial, scientific, and medical applications. The Head of Sales will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy, achieving national and international revenue and growth targets, and expanding into new markets. Key activities include disciplinary and technical leadership of the sales team, developing acquisition strategies for new B2B customers, managing relationships with clients and international distributors, and handling complex tender processes. The ideal candidate must possess a technical or scientific degree, practical experience with laser systems, and at least five years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the high-tech or industrial sector, coupled with proven success in team leadership. The position requires fluent German and English skills and moderate travel (20-30%) to attend international trade fairs and conferences.
