The Linux System Engineer will be primarily responsible for ensuring operational stability, compliance, and security across the environment. Day-to-day tasks involve advanced troubleshooting, system adaptations, and driving continuous modernization projects, such as RHEL upgrades. A strong emphasis is placed on automation, utilizing tools like Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline operations. The successful candidate will administer the Linux VDI environment, strategically evaluate the integration of cloud resources, and possess deep expertise in RHEL-based distributions (Red Hat, Rocky, CentOS) and core network services (Samba, LDAP, Kerberos). Completed degree in Computer Science (Ideally)
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Familiarity with corporate structures and processes
- Profound practical experience with services and technologies like Samba, NFS, Kerberos, LDAP, and Active Directory
- Demonstrated skills, potentially through certifications like RHCE or LPIC
